Cheers! Therese invites you to a ½ bottle of white wine, on the house.
In the global collective unconscious, the name Thérèse (Theresa in English) evokes a saint and great deeds of humanity. The Hotel Thérèse, a 4* establishment in the heart of Paris, aims to uphold this splendid reputation. Ideally located in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, a few steps from the Palais Royal, the Louvre, the Tuileries, the Place des Victoires and the Rue Saint-Honoré. The address allows you to reach some of the most beautiful monuments of Paris in a few minutes and to take the metro (Pyramides, Palais Royal or Quatre Septembre stations) in even less time.
TO FIND THE SPOT, its 18th century building and its elegant neo-classical façade, you’ll have an easy go of it. Go to numbers 5-7 rue Thérèse. Once the stronghold of gambling houses, the former “Lucky Street” takes its current name from another Thérèse: Queen Marie Thérèse of Austria, wife of Louis XIV. However, there is no need to look for gold, moldings, and wing chairs here. Renovated by the Parisian interior designer Jean-Louis Deniot at the request of the de Lattre family (who also built the Adèle & Jules and Récamier hotels), the premises have been designed in a loft style halfway between high luxury and neo-industrial. The spaces are unstructured but rich in materials and washed-out, oxidized, patinated colors ranging from cream to bronze through petrol blue and taupe.
A METALLIC PALETTE warmed by precious fabrics, carpets, wooded incursions, vintage pieces, and custom-designed furniture (large mirrors, masterful sofas…). Singular, the ensemble stands out and does not lack personality, creating an opulent, hospitable atmosphere, which extends into a collection of 40 cozy rooms, ranging from 10 to 28 square meters. Richly decorated, with spectacular headboards, upholstered and carpeted, you can relax before enjoying a snack in the lounge every afternoon or breakfast served under the vaulted ceiling of a cleverly staged cellar. Thérèse and her blessings…
SNACKTIME – Every day, from 4 to 6 pm, Thérèse serves a snack in the small lounge next to the reception. Ideal for a snack, curled up on a sofa, in the shade of the library.
BAR – A small selection of wine, digestives, or soft drinks to be enjoyed in the quiet of the lobby.
